Acceptance
By using Sukui (sukui.org), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
What Sukui is — and is not
Sukui offers Christian resources: an AI chatbot, devotionals, and videos. It is a starting point for exploration, not an authority. The chatbot is an AI — it can be wrong, incomplete, or imprecise, and nothing it says constitutes professional advice of any kind. Sukui is not a church, and the chatbot is not a pastor, counselor, or therapist. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line — in Japan, the Yorisoi Hotline (0120-279-338); in the US, call or text 988.
Acceptable use
Use Sukui as a human being, in good faith. Do not attempt to abuse, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service; do not use it to generate harmful content or to harass others; do not attempt to circumvent rate limits. We may restrict access to protect the service and its users.
Donations
Donations are voluntary gifts that fund the operating costs of the platform (AI usage, hosting, translation). They are not payments for goods or services, and no goods or services are provided in return. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. If something goes wrong with a donation, contact us via the Connect page and we will make it right.
Content and copyright
Scripture quotations use the World English Bible (English) and the 口語訳 Colloquial Japanese Bible, 1955 (Japanese), both in the public domain. Devotionals and other original content belong to Sukui — you are welcome to share and quote them non-commercially with attribution. You retain whatever rights you have in the messages you write; by sending them you allow us to process them as described in the Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
The site relies on third-party providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Stripe, YouTube for embedded videos). Their terms govern their services; we are not responsible for their availability.
No warranty; limitation of liability
Sukui is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sukui and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.
