"I wanted to share my faith with her, but I couldn't find the words — in any language."

Sukui started with a simple problem. My girlfriend is Japanese. I'm a Christian. And when I wanted to explain what I believe — really explain it, not just translate words — I found almost nothing.

The internet had resources in English. Japan had its own resources. But the gap between them? Almost empty. And it wasn't just a language problem. It was a cultural one.

Japanese people encounter Christianity through a very different lens than Westerners do. The questions are different. The entry points are different. The things that feel like obstacles are different. And almost none of the resources I found understood that.

So I built Sukui. For her. For anyone in that gap. For every Japanese speaker who has ever had a question about Christianity and couldn't find a place to ask it in their own language, with the care that question deserves.

Sukui means "salvation." The name isn't a claim. It's an invitation.
